A Jam-Packed XP Elite Weekend

XP Elite is going to be busy this weekend. Really busy.

Our 5/6 Tournament Team has five games at the SEYB Summer Slam. Our 10U Rec Team plays at 2:00 p.m., and our 12U Rec Team plays at 5:00 p.m. A number of the boys on our 12U Rec Team are also playing in the tournament, so they are going to get plenty of basketball this weekend.

The weekend lineup:

• 5/6 Tournament Team — Five games at the SEYB Summer Slam over the weekend.
• 10U Rec — Saturday, 2:00 p.m.
• 12U Rec — Saturday, 5:00 p.m.

We will also have XP Elite players suiting up with Ball Up, another local team. Those boys regularly play with Ball Up’s tournament team and we love supporting Brandon and the Ball Up squad.

That is not something we see as competing with what we are building. It is part of what we are building.

One of our biggest goals is to give the boys as many good opportunities to play as possible. We are not interested in limiting a player just because the jersey might be different that day. Sometimes the opportunity will come through XP Elite. Sometimes it will come through another local team.

If it puts a boy on the floor, gives him meaningful reps, and helps him get better, we support it.

That is what this weekend represents. Tournament basketball. Rec basketball. Boys playing with different teams, learning from different coaches, and getting as much experience as possible.

Busy? Absolutely. But this is exactly the kind of busy we want.
